Brian Chang is the Senior Customer Marketing Manager at Honeycomb.io, where he leads all customer marketing and advocacy initiatives for the industry’s leading observability technology vendor. With over 12 years of experience in customer marketing and operations, Brian specializes in building and scaling high-impact advocacy programs that drive customer engagement, brand loyalty, and business growth. At Honeycomb, Brian spearheads the Honeycomb Champions program, a thriving community of passionate customer advocates who actively contribute to thought leadership, product feedback, and market influence. Prior to Honeycomb, Brian held key customer marketing roles at Pivotal/VMware and Red Hat, where he successfully built and launched two flagship advocacy programs—VMware Tanzu Vanguard and Red Hat Accelerators—both of which continue to thrive today. His career includes leadership positions in marketing and operations at Snapfish, Sun Microsystems, AT&T Broadband, and CNN. Brian is passionate about customer storytelling, brand advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration. He leverages his expertise to build programs that create lasting customer relationships and measurable business impact.
