Fahad has completed the marketing triumvirate. Agency, Brand and Platform. His career spans over 20 years across some of the biggest names in the world. Emirates Airline, BBDO, Ogilvy, Twitter, IBM, TikTok and now Coursera. During those 20+ years, Fahad made it his mission to learn as much about the art and science as marketing as possible, picking up numerous creative and effectiveness awards along the way. It was only in the last 5 years however that his interest and passion turned to Marketing Strategy and Operations as the pressure on marketers truly ramped up to favor outcomes over brand building. He set out to find a way to help balance the two. He now leads the function at Coursera, bringing together a team of extraordinary talents to help evolve what marketing is all about. When Fahad isn’t staring at one of his many screens, he likes to relax by staring at different screens with his two sons, engaged in competitive gaming and advanced movie watching with regular breaks to pursue PhDs in pizza development and dad jokes. Much to his wife’s disapproval.
