Tara Corey is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Optimizely, where she leads global marketing strategy and execution. She joined Optimizely in January 2025, bringing a proven track record of driving meaningful business outcomes and building high-performing teams. Prior to Optimizely, Tara served as SVP of Marketing at Ellucian and spent nearly a decade at Qlik, most recently as Vice President of Global Demand Management. Earlier in her career, she held multiple leadership roles at SAP, including Chief of Staff to the SVP of Worldwide Marketing Regions.
Throughout her career, Tara has been passionate about the power of small changes to drive big impact, whether it's optimizing a campaign, shifting a mindset, or empowering a team to experiment and grow. She thrives on putting the pieces together: aligning people, processes, and technology to unlock new levels of scale and performance. Tara believes the most effective marketing creates momentum across the entire customer journey and are grounded in measurable, incremental change.
At Optimizely, Tara is especially energized by the opportunity to use the company’s own technology to demonstrate what modern marketing can look like. For her, it’s not just about driving results - it's about showing what’s possible when great content meets smart delivery.
Tara holds a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and an MBA from Long Island University.
