Over the past decade, Asaf Wolff has had the privilege of leading the growth at University of the People from a small 5-employee, 500-student operation to serving over 150,000 students, making it one of the top 10 universities in the US and the fastest-growing institution in the country. Alongside his role at UoPeople, he mentors and advises various companies and startups, guiding them through growth and strategic challenges. He also leads Bereisheet Tech, the Israeli high-tech community in the NYC suburbs. Since 2015, they’ve grown to over 1,000 members and host 15+ events annually, ranging from intimate founder gatherings to large-scale networking events. He is excited about finding new and creative ways to reach new audiences while maintaining a super-low acquisition cost (99% lower than the industry average) and about the challenge of adjusting operations to manage growth. He has also helped to raise over $50M and is in charge of partnerships with corporations such as Google, Adobe, and Microsoft. He is passionate about using new technology to make operations more efficient and excited about how AI can help them become much more productive. He is also committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected, and he believes that a multicultural work environment is a major advantage more than it's a challenge.
