He has a diverse background in startups as a founder, VC operating partner, and angel investor (13+ startups). Currently, Drew serves as the Head of Marketing at Fonzi, the all-in-one AI recruiter transforming how companies find top talent. Drew leads initiatives that scale hiring strategies, helping businesses streamline their recruitment process with AI-powered efficiency. Additionally, Drew is also an Operating Partner at Charge Ventures (70+ portfolio companies), where he assists founders in developing their go-to-market strategies, growth plans, and business models. Prior to his role at Kumospace and Charge, Drew developed deep professional experience as someone who has held the role of founder, corporate spin-off CEO, and head of marketing across a number of both B2B and B2C industries. His background in startups is rich, having founded two companies (1 exit) and built four corporate back ventures, including one for Ford Motor Company. His startup work has been featured in over 50 publications, including Business Insider, Elite Daily, CNET, ABC’s Good Morning America, Refinery 29, and New Yorker. Outside of work, Drew is an avid skier and sailor. He founded and hosted VentureSails, invite-only networking events for founders and tech-sector investors. Through this network, Drew made angel investments across a wide range of sectors, including space, fintech, consumer tech, and consumer packaged goods.
