Brigadier General Antoinette R. Gant serves as the Chief, Army Enterprise Marketing Office in Chicago where she is responsible for developing, executing and analyzing national level marketing campaigns in support of the Army's recruiting mission. A native of Port Gibson, Mississippi, Brig. Gen. Gant graduated from Prairie View A&M University in Texas as a Distinguished Military Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. She has served in a variety of command and staff positions for Army engineering units stateside and abroad, including deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait. Among her achievements, Brig. Gen. Gant has received several national and community awards, to include Army Stars and Stripes Black Engineer of the Year Award, Women of Color Career Achievement in Government, YWCA Women on the Move, and Visionary Leader, South Central Region, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Brig. Gen. Gantā€™s military awards and decorations include the Army Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal. Brig. Gen. Gant is married to Leonard Gant of Kansas City, Missouri, and they have two children.
